US IG bonds outperformed Asian IG dollar bonds in November, with the former giving returns 1.3% while the latter returned 0.6% in November. Regarding investment grade bonds, JPMorgan expects IG spreads to remain tight next year, driven by a “perfect for credit” scenario of growth near trend, yields above 5% through 2025, and increased overseas demand while net corporate bond supply declines. It added that tariffs could be a manageable headwind for most domestic high-grade companies. Among the companies, CreditSights recently said that Boeing was the “best idea” on expectations that the planemaker can stabilize its ratings and provide a path to upgrades over the next few years.
