Global Sukuk Issuances Expected to Rise in 2025; View Largest Dollar Sukuk Outstanding

Global sukuk issuances are expected to hit $200bn in 2025, with the total global outstanding sukuk poised to exceed $1tn this year, as per debt market experts. S&P analysts said that foreign-currency denominated sukuk saw a 29% YoY rise, standing at $72.7bn in 2024. While global geopolitical tensions may rise, S&P forecasts that these will have minimal impact on sukuk issuance in 2025. We have compiled a list of the top 10 largest dollar sukuk outstanding above.
