Vedanta Ltd’s board approved a second interim dividend of INR 4/share ($0.05) for the current financial year. The total payout amounts to INR 15.6bn ($190mn). Vedanta has been a regular dividend payer in the recent past and had given an INR 11/share ($0.13/share) first interim dividend earlier this year. They had also distributed three interim dividends in the previous calendar year of INR 11 ($0.13), INR 18.5 ($0.22) and INR 20.5 ($0.24) in December, May and February 2023 respectively.
Vedanta’s dollar bonds were steady with its 9.25% 2026s at 95.8, yielding 12%.
