Ukraine’s dollar bonds jumped by 1.0-1.5 points across the curve. There was no major news that could be attributed to the move in its bonds, however there were certain developments on the Russia-Ukraine war front. US President Donald Trump signaled a possible willingness to provide more Patriot missiles to Ukraine following his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a NATO summit. Zelensky emphasized Ukraine’s urgent need for air defense amid escalating Russian missile attacks, particularly on its cities. While Trump left open the option of additional military or financial aid to Ukraine, he made no firm commitments. He also mentioned plans to speak again with Russian President Vladimir Putin on ending the war.
