Fosun International’s unit is said to have agreed to sell a 40% stake in Portugal-based hospital operator Luz Saude for €310mn ($363mn). The sale will be made towards MEIF 7 Med Holdings, linked to Macquarie Group. As per a statement, Fosun-controlled Portuguese insurer Fidelidade struck a deal with MEIF 7 Med Holdings to sell some of its stake in the hospital operator. Luz Saude is among Portugal’s largest private healthcare groups. In May 2014, Fosun acquired Fidelidade, for about €1bn and currently owns 85% of the company.
Fosun’s dollar bonds are trading stable, with its 5.05% 2027s at 98.8, yielding 6%.
