Argentina said that it has received $300mn worth of loans from the World Bank; $250mn for the public healthcare system and $80mn for digital services. The debts are repayable over 32Y with grace periods of 7Y and have a floating interest rate. Martín Guzmán, the Economy Minister, had announced that Argentina is planning to borrow a total of $2bn from the World Bank in 2021 to fund programmes for climate change, employment, health care and infrastructure. $420mn had been approved in February, which included $300mn for water services and $120mn for social housing in the province of Buenos Aires.
Argentina´s USD bonds were with its 0.125% 2030s up at 33 yielding 12.59% and its 8.75% 2024s at 39.343 yielding 43.8%.
