Ukraine’s dollar bonds were higher by over 1.2 points across the curve. This came after US President Donald Trump announced an upcoming meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Switzerland, claiming that Kyiv and Moscow are “reasonably close” to a peace deal. He said that both Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin were ready to negotiate an end to the conflict. While he expressed confidence in the current direction of the talks, he did not provide specific details regarding the timing or the framework of the potential settlement.
